Austin Bell is a photographer and writer from North Carolina who is currently nomadic. His subjects include landscapes, birds, and most predominately, basketball courts. He has shot over 2,400 basketball courts across the world, with specific focuses in Hong Kong, Puerto Rico and New York City. Austin captures them from all angles: aerially, through fences or at center court. The courts fascinate him because of their color, symmetry and ubiquity, becoming a unique lens to the places in which they are found.
